According to a source, ‘A-Rod’ has purchased a 40,000-square-foot ?home lot on Star Island in Miami Beach. The property is worth $18.5 million and was bought by a firm managed by Alex, named Star Island 14 LLC.?

The off-market price deal for the property equated to $463 per square foot of land. The property last traded for $24 million back in 2020. At that time, there happened to be a house on the plot, but the house later got demolished.?

This is not the first time ‘A-Rod’ has bought a plot at Star Island. Back in 2020, he bought the house at 13 Star Island Drive, in tandem with his then-fiancee. ‘A-Rod’ was engaged to pop megastar and actress Jennifer Lopez at that time. However, the couple broke up in 2021 and parted ways. ‘A-Rod’ is now a single father living with his two daughters.?
