After very long, the New York Yankees have managed a very convincing victory over an extremely powerful team – Toronto Blue Jays. But this game was more than a convincing victory but was a grand display of what the Pinstripes offense can actually pull off on a good day and even a solid and economical start by Jimmy Cordero and Jhony Brito. Moreover, the game also had various talkable moments, a very popular one being New York Yankees skipper Aaron Boone’s ejection.
Aaron Boone’s ejection came deep in the eighth when home-plate umpire Clint Vondrak called a strike on a ball that was pretty much under the strike zone.

After the strike call by umpire Vondark, Boone left the dugout and entered into a heated conversation with the umpire, pointing out that there had been poor calls throughout the game. Consequently, Boone was tossed.

Despite his ejection, Boone and the Yankees had a good game. They scored early in the game and maintained a good lead until finally conceding in the eighth after a Gleyber Torres error.
“Any time you can score early, it’s always a good thing. We added on pretty well, and I felt like all night, we had chances to add on even more. A really good plan by the guys, and they went out and executed it.”
Aaron Judge had a brilliant game. The 2022 AL MVP’s first homer came off Alek Manoah in the first, before smashing a 462-foot blast of Jay Jackson in the eighth, which came right after Boone’s ejection. The Yankees captain spoke about a good performance by the Yankees offense, and said, “Tonight, we did a good job getting something we could drive and putting a good swing on it to do damage.”
Lately, Aaron Boone has rarely been at the receiving end of fan praise, or any positive words, from the massive Yankees fan base. But yesterday was different. Everyone was happy when Boone stood up for Judge for what was a rather poor strike call.
As a result, this is how fans reacted:
And then Judge delivered some sweet sweet karma to Jackson.
