Houston Astros are up and running in the MLB postseason this year. Right from the start of the 2022 regular season, the Astros have been the most consistent team in the entire MLB.

When talking about the ALCS Game 2, the Astros once again proved why they are the favorites to win the World Series this year. And now that they have won the first two games of the ALCS, the Dusty Baker-led team needs just two more wins to win the American League Pennant.

Coming down to Jose Altuve, the Astros slugger is not having a great time from the plate in the postseason. And despite that, he made the day of his fan, who came all the way to escape securities at Minute Maid Park.

The footage of the same has been doing rounds on the internet. Given Altuve is going through a hitless streak, one fan jokingly said Altuve might have gotten some hitting tips from his fan.

Several other fans also appreciated Altuve’s gesture toward his fan. Notably, Altuve gave a tight hug to his fan, who escaped security to get a glimpse of his favorite player. However, a few fans questioned and showed their anger towards the security.

What happened to the beast version of Altuve in the postseason?

Not many baseball fans are aware, but in the postseason, Jose Altuve is a beast. It is another thing that he has not been the same in the ongoing postseason. But when talking about numbers, Altuve has hit the second most home runs (23 HRs) in postseason history.
