Chandler Rome cleared the air, stating that Dana Brown has always made some great moves, pushing newcomers whenever there’s a chance—be it Jake Bloss, who missed Double-A and came up to the Astros, making few starts, or Zach DiZenzo, who barely played in Triple-A, got called up as well. So, Dana Brown, known for his moves, regardless of how the players might have performed earlier, could definitely push Cam Smith Cam Smith to the Opening Day roster if he does upper-level pitching at Double-A and Triple-A perfectly, just as the Astros wanted to see him.
