The New York Yankees are one of the MLB teams which sync well with the Swiftie label. Everyone on the team, from their manager Aaron Boone to the players, including Judge, is a big Taylor Swift fan. It was very much visible when the Yankees’ official Twitter revealed an insight into the team.

It started with each player’s question about naming their top Swift songs. The list had song names from Anti-Hero to Shake It Off to Bad Blood, which proved Swift’s impact on the team. And the same journey has continued with the latest label for the Yankees captain. They dedicated Judge’s “You Belong With Me” song as the identity.

One line of the song, “She Cheer Captain and I am on the bleachers,” sums up the context of why Judge was labeled with this song. It syncs with his importance on the team, which was visible during his absence because of the injury.

And it also goes with the cheers which followed, especially from the 34 million star Anthony Rizzo, who was the first to react to Judge’s comeback news. The same was the notion from the rest of the team, which felt relieved after Judge played after two months.

With Yankees currently sitting on a tightrope, they might need more inspiration from Taylor Swift’s songs to overcome the challenges.
