The event included frontline American celebrities, and Kevin Smith was among the attendees too. He reportedly bawled at the serene proceedings. According to a source, Smith said, “I cry all the time. I cry watching episodes of ‘The Flash.’ I cry watching ‘Degrassi’ for heaven’s sake. But I bawled throughout (the wedding) because it was goddamn beautiful. So beautiful.”

Long ago, speaking on his friendship with Affleck, Smith said, “He’s got a wife (Jennifer Garner) that don’t (sic) care for me at all. And plus, honestly, he probably don’t care for me at all anymore, (either). He’s a triple-A-list movie star and s–t like that. If he’s Jimmy Carter, I’m Billy Carter, to put it in ’70s terms. And I’m not even related and s–t.”
