An Insider Once Revealed How Former Yankees Third Baseman Alex Rodriguez Took Help of Ex-Wife After Breakup With Jennifer Lopez

Breaking up is hard for everybody, but it’s especially hard for celebrities. Alex Rodriguez found out the hard way through his breakups over the years and the media coverage that followed them.

But perhaps the messiest split for the former Yankees star was his divorce from Cynthia Scurtis. The two were married from 2002 to 2008, after which they got divorced.

Following the divorce, A-Rod and Scurtis were not that close. But the two have since worked on their relationship and are now close friends who co-parent their two children together.

According to reports, Alex Rodriguez has been spending more time with Scurtis after his breakup with Jennifer Lopez. And this is for a very articular reason.

An insider has said that Alex Rodriguez trusts his ex-wife and her new husband completely. And that he has been spending more time with them after his breakup with JLo.

While talking to Vanity Fair, the insider said “He’s a strong guy and has a lot going on in his life. He’s more so hanging with Cynthia because she and [her husband] Angel [Nicolas] keep him company and are part of his inner circle that he trusts.”

Additionally, they have been spending a lot of time together as a family along with A-Rod and Scurtis’ daughters.

The trust that A-Rod is putting in Scurtis has been built over the years as they tried to be good parents. The two of them initially put aside their differences for the sake of being better parents.

But over the years A-Rod and his ex-wife have built a close friendship. This includes Scurtis’ current husband Angel Nicolas, who A-Rod has shown respect to and grown closer to over the years as well.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez broke up in April last year to the shock of many. They were together for 4 years and got engaged in 2019.

The couple released a joint statement saying that they were better off as friends and that they were ending their relationship. The two have moved on since then and are now seeing other people.
