Finally, after a long wait for baseball, spring’s Grapefruit League has begun. And with the New York Yankees hitting the ballpark for the first time since their ALCS elimination, their captain Aaron Judge has put on a new attire while his team toppled the Atlanta Braves 7-0. The Pinstripes captain made an appearance in a fresh position.
Amidst right, center, and left field chatter, Aaron Judge, like the former Yankees captain Derek Jeter, made a mid-game appearance with YES Network and surprised the entire New York Yankees fanbase by proving his “sports media” ability.

Like every star on the field who leaves the park to eventually enter the world of broadcasting, Aaron Judge has already proved his ability in front of the camera.

In his mid-game appearance, with an earpiece in his left ear and a mic in the right, Judge said, “What’s up, everybody? Glad to have you here. Ummm, great first day Spring Training. Excited to have everybody back.”
However, he also expressed that captaining and speaking in front of a camera wasn’t as easy as he expected. Judge added, “It’s a little tougher than I expected…”

Judge is excited to hear his name in the bleachers as Opening Day nears
The New York Yankees’ 2023 season will commence with the Pinstripes welcoming the Golden State’s San Francisco Giants to the Bronx on March 30th. While talking about the excitement ahead of Opening Day and his first appearance at Yankee Stadium as captain, the 2022 AL MVP said, “Hearing your name get called for the New York Yankees never gets old. If it’s in Tampa if it’s in New York, that’s something I didn’t want to stop hearing once I became a free agent. I was hoping to hear those words again. It was an exciting moment.”
