His first playoff game as a pitcher and the unfortunate disaster that hit his family thousands of miles away. While the first one is exciting, the latter is life-threatening. But like a real-life hero, this 27-year-old pitcher didn’t give up on pitching. He put his responsibility as a priority and pitched on the Tuesday game, with tension running in the back of his mind.

The ALDS Game 3 between The Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles was thrilling. The Rangers had already won the first two games, but the Orioles tried hard to win the third one. Though the young pitcher could not save his team’s fate, he proved his dedication to his team.

Dean Kremer proved his dedication and responsibility for his team

The Baltimore Orioles season has ended with their 7-1 defeat against the Texas Rangers. However, that’s only a part of the story. There’s another that touched the hearts of all MLB fans. On Tuesday, Dean Kremer, who is the Israel-American dual-citizen pitcher, made his playoff debut. Well, the news is crucial because of the current situation Israel is going through. On Saturday, Hamas declared war against Israel, where Kremer’s extended family lives. Amidst this scary situation, the pitcher didn’t hesitate a bit to say, “I still want to pitch.”

His dedication is commendable, but he admitted that he couldn’t help thinking about the lurking danger surrounding his family miles away. The pitcher expressed, “I mean, it?s going to be in the back of my head.? Although the player has dual citizenship, most of his extended family is still in Israel. He even pitched for the Israeli National Team in the World Baseball Classic. The pitcher didn’t say much about his family, only informed that they were all right. His dedication touched everyone. Even the Fox Sports analysts mentioned Kremer’s sense of responsibility.

The game didn’t go well for the Baltimore Orioles. Like Game 1 and Game 2, the Rangers swept the opponents out.

On the other hand, Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi threw seven outstanding innings to wrap the Orioles. He gave only one run in exchange for seven strikeouts.
