Captain Clutch Derek Jeter is about to hit a major milestone in his life. The Hall of Famer is turning 49 in a couple of weeks. However, before Jeter completes yet another year of his life, he is spending his time either with family or by immersing himself in the hobby he took after bidding farewell to baseball, that is golf. Most recently, Derek Jeter and Olympic legend Michael Phelps appeared as two of the four celebrities at American Family Insurance Champion, also known as Celebrity Foursome.
And once again, the 5x World Champ went viral for making a warm gesture toward one of his fans.

As Derek walked toward the herd of fans, he noticed a woman standing with a message, waiting for him. After approaching her, Captain Clutch read the message, that said, “Hi Jeter! Can I please get a mulligan (second chance) on this picture?! I’ll try to hold it together this time! Thank you!!”
Under the message was a picture of the fan hugging Jeter while crying inconsolably. Jeter took one look at the message and stood for a selfie with his fan while trying to console her.

Even though the fan tried her best not to cry, she couldn’t control her emotions, and a few tears snuck past her. Seems like Jeter’s charm has only increased even after eight years of getting retired from the big league.

This birthday of Jeter is going to be extra special!
On June 26, Captain Clutch Derek Jeter would be only one short of reaching his silver jubilee. However, the reason behind Jeter’s 49th birthday being extra special is that his son, Kaius Green Jeter, would also be joining the family.
Being born on his mother, Supermodel Hannah Jeter’s birthday on May 5, Kaius gave a special gift to his mother. And now, his presence on his father’s birthday would make the already special day even more special.
