“Almost Didn’t Make it Into 2023” – MLB Icon Alex Rodriguez Evades a Serious Injury Off Girlfriend Jac Cordeiro’s Wild New Year’s Moment

Alex Rodriguez completed one of his dreams to play professional baseball when he played for 22 seasons, majorly for the New York Yankees. Since retiring from the game in 2016, he has been working on his second dream to expand his business. But in doing so, he hasn’t kept his personal life aside. 

Not long ago, the former Yankee came into a relationship with a Canadian fitness expert, Jaclyn Cordeiro. After making his relationship official on Instagram, the couple is now sharing their moments together. One such example of it is their new year’s celebration with a luxurious and expensive dinner. 

But the couple evaded what could have been a serious injury if not done properly. It could have ruined the new year’s celebration, but fortunately, Cordeiro did it right, and they evaded the moment without any sort of injury at all. 

 What happened in the New year’s celebration of Alex Rodriguez that could have caused a major injury?

Opening a bottle of champagne while celebrating any special moment has become an unsaid ritual. Rodriguez’s girlfriend Cordeiro, in her different style, wanted to follow that ritual in a slightly different manner.

Usually, it is done after shaking the bottle enough that popping off the champagne creates sound. But the fitness expert took it to a whole another level by using a sword to open up the already shaken bottle. She pointed it toward the door, sliced the cork, and with great speed, the cork hit the door. About this, the former Yankee wrote on his Instagram post, “Almost didn’t make it into 2023.”

In this way, Rodriguez evaded a serious injury from happening. From putting on the 2022 year-in-review video to sharing the moments of celebrating the New Year, the ex-athlete is having the time of his life. 

How did Rodriguez spend the last month of the last year?

A-Rod started the last month of last year by taking Cordeiro on a vacation to the Bahamas in an exclusive location. Not long after coming back, he went on yet another vacation. But this time, his kids were also present with the new couple.
