The 53-year-old last starred in ‘Shotgun Wedding’ which was released in December 2022. Furthermore, she is going to be releasing her album ‘This is Me… Now’ later this year. But her fans and supporters were excited as she held a special screening event for her latest film. 

Jennifer Lopez hosts special screening of ‘The Mother’ in New York

‘The Mother’ is a highly anticipated action-drama starring Jennifer Lopez. Fans have long been awaiting the flick and were recently treated to a special screening in New York. It is set for release on Netflix on May 12th, but the early screening allowed certain fans an early look. JLo shared a video from the event on Instagram, leaving her massive 244 million followers fanbase more eager than ever.

In the Instagram Post, Lopez said, “#TheMother special screenings NY 🏙️ @netflix @nikicaro @egt239 @lucypaezofficial #NuyoricanProductions”. The film has garnered a lot of hype over the past couple of weeks, with many fans awaiting its release. This special screening further added to the excitement.

Lopez supported Affleck at the premiere of his film ‘Air’

Although Jennifer Lopez has been incredibly busy with her music and acting career, she is also supporting her husband Ben Affleck at his big events. Last month she and Affleck were seen together at the Premiere of ‘Air’, a Michael Jordan-based film directed by him. The two have supported each other through major milestones and events since getting back together.
