On the question, what is his business superpower? Rodriguez replied, “ I would say my grit, my determination, my work ethic. The fact that I have failed very publicly and I’ve had to get back up, dust off and just keep walking. But I got to rebuild myself.”

On the question of whether winning is still as important to him, Rodriguez replied, “My relationship with winning has changed completely. I think about winning today as a process over results.”

He then shared a crucial aspect and the crux of running a business during difficult times, ” And I think if you have the right team and you have the right vision that if you play the process out and you have great effort, and you honor your word, and you do good by people and not always thinking about what’s in it. For me, I think developing young talent and that process to me is where the real glory.”
