Alex Rodriguez Was ‘Turned off’ by Actress Kate Hudson’s Insistence to Always Be Seen on Camera at Yankees Games

Alex Rodriguez might not be the best player to play in Major League Baseball. But the former New York Yankees superstar will go down as the most popular ballplayer in the game. And there were several reasons.

Apart from his illustrious yet controversial MLB career, A-Rod remained the media favorite for his dating life. From Jennifer López to Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson to Torrie Wilson, the former Yankee has dated quite a few famous women.

Dating back to 2009, when A-Rod was in a relationship with the Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, A-Rod was not comfortable with Hudson. And that was the main reason their relationship did not last long enough.

Kate Hudson dating Alex Rodriguez was more of a PR move

Per usmagazine.com, Alex Rodriguez was deeply hurt by his ex-girlfriend, Kate Hudson. Hudson was in this relationship because she would get more attention by getting more camera time in MLB games.

“[Hudson] wanted more camera time each and every game,” an A-Rod source told the Usmagazine.com. “She would always want to be styled before games and she’d insist on front-row seats.” 

The unanimous source also revealed this relationship was nothing but a PR move for Hudson. And A-Rod wanted someone who would understand him rather than use him for attention.

“Her motivation was more of a PR move than genuine devotion. It was a turnoff to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera,” the source said. “Alex wanted someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship than just building their profile.”

Apparently, the ex-couple ended up breaking up with each other by the end of 2009. Currently, Hudson is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa.

However, Alex Rodriguez is reportedly dating a 25-year-old fitness model, Kathryne Padgett. But neither of them has confirmed their relationship yet.
