Steroids played a vital role in the conversations surrounding the latter half of A-Rod’s career in the ballpark. Alex Rodriguez entered the MLB as the youngest Seattle Mariners debutant at 18. And since his arrival, he took the realm of baseball by a powerful storm and established his name as one of the greatest sluggers in MLB history.

Eventually, though, once his steroid scandal came to light, his entire career, which he built from scratch, stood stained. And stained enough to garner the attention of Donald Trump, who eventually became the 45th American President.
Ex-President Donald Trump was never kind to the ex-Yankee champion. Nevertheless, earlier this year, the slugger-turned-business mogul started negotiating the purchase of Donald Trump’s hotel for a gigantic $375 million through his holding company, A-Rod Corp. Notably, Alex Rodriguez established A-Rod Corp in 1996 and recently spoke about one of his biggest assets in a recently uploaded Instagram reel.
A-Rod refers to ex-President Donald Trump while explaining A-Rod Corp
After arriving in Washington DC, A-Rod starts by talking about the commonly pondered question about A-Rod Corps functions. He says, “This is the one question that people ask me all the time. ‘What does A-Rod Corp do?’ Well, today is a perfect example. We’re going to see two of our trophy assets.”

He discusses Waldorf Hotel as one of A-Rod Corp’s greatest assets, which was previously owned by ex-President Donald Trump. He says, “One is the Waldorf Hotel on Pennsylvania Ave, formerly owned by President Trump. We’re hosting about 20 to 25 partners, and investors, going to show them around. It’s one of the greatest hotels in the country.”
Finally, he talks about A-Rod Corp’s second biggest asset: Minnesota Timberwolves. While talking about that, he says, “We’re going across town to watch our Timberwolves play the Wizards at Capital One Arena.”
What did ex-President Donald Trump say about Alex Rodriguez?
Donald Trump and Alex Rodriguez have never shared a great dynamic, which makes the avoidable mention even more absurd. Back in 2012, when A-Rod’s juicing scandal came to light, Trump reached his Twitter account (un-banned now) to express his uncensored discontent towards the slugger. As is visible below, he called A-Rod a “druggie” and “MLB’s biggest fraud” amongst other things.
Druggie A-Rod, @MLB’s biggest fraud, is lucky George Steinbrenner is no longer with us. @Yankees would have voided his contract.

A-Rod was a great player when he lived at Trump Park Avenue— even though he was on the juice!

A-Rod should donate his contract to charity. He doesn't make the @yankees any money and he doesn't perform. He is a $30M/yr rip off.
