To add to the emotional weight of the video, he played the soul-wrenching song “Fix You” by Coldplay – a band that holds a special place in the couple’s hearts.

In their joint statement, after officially announcing they had broken up, the two stars emphasized that their separation is not the end of their partnership. They will continue to work together in their business ventures and remain friends as well as parents.

According to Refinery29, this was their statement, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
