This includes Aaron Judge’s recent contract signing with the New York Yankees. In a recent comment, Alex Rodriguez complimented Judge by comparing him to two of the NBA’s most celebrated players.

Notably, earlier this week, the reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge signed a 9-year contract with the Pinstripes for a whopping $360 million. And since then, he has been a hot topic in the sporting world.

Alex Rodriguez compared Aaron Judge to Kobe and LeBron

In a recent episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Alex Rodriguez gave his thoughts on Aaron Judge’s new contract. And while doing so, he compared Judge to Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Rodriguez said “Well you know Colin, what happens when you have players, where there’s a Kobe Bryant, a LeBron James, a franchise player. You know, day 1, that these guys have the goods. They have the goods, the talent, Madison Avenue, great great character.”

Although Judge may not have achieved as much as LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, he still has years of playing years to do so. The important thing is that Judge has signed a new contract with the team and will spend almost the rest of his career as a Yankee.

Rodriguez has repeatedly said that Judge has earned the contract but the Yankees should have signed him earlier. And that by waiting this long, they have had to pay Judge more money in order to keep him. It will be interesting to see how the Judge contract turns out. Judge will be the next Yankees captain!

According to Bob Nightengale, Aaron Judge will be made Yankees captain after signing his new deal. In a tweet, Nightengale said, The #Yankees have yet to make it official but Aaron Judge will be wearing a C on his chest for the next nine years. He will be named captain of the Yankees.”
