Did A-Rod outshine Jeter with his spot-on Dodgers prediction, or was it just luck?

It was an exciting week for the MLB fans, with great matchups in the division series. The Los Angeles Dodgers won it in game 5 against the Padres, completing a comeback and qualifying for the NLCS. As it was the first post-season for the two-time AL MVP Shohei Ohtani, all eyes were on him. Everyone away from the ground put the money on him to be a game changer. However, former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez had some other thoughts.

Although, A-Rod is no unknown face in the punditry, sometimes, predictions like their nature go wrong. But, the legend showed his experience and scored a point over his friend Derek Jeter, who had most in favor of a perfect prediction. What was that?

In the world of possibilities, everything can go wrong. The same was true when the San Diego Padres were one to win away from glory against the Los Angeles Dodgers. But the Padres lost their two next games and went out against the odds. Amidst all this, Alex Rodriguez’s prediction stood correct, with the Hernandez duo homering it for the NLDS win.

Reportedly, Rodriguez, during the game analysis termed Kiké and Teoscar Hernandez, a key for the Dodgers. The same happened as they scored invaluable runs in game 5, a 2-0 win. With this, he joined Jeter, who had the most predictions right during this postseason. However, it will now be interesting to, how his next prediction goes. As things stand, we are eight games away from that, becoming half-right.

A few more games and Rodriguez can claim another prediction as right.

Have an interesting take?

It’s been months since the All-Star game was played. But the predictions made in that hold their worth until up and could become true if all goes right. Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez made a few World Series predictions. Jeter said, “As it sits now, the Philadelphia Phillies are the best team in baseball, in my opinion.” However, Alex Rodriguez had some other ideas. He countered his former captain and shared, “Not so fast, Captain!”

While referring to the trade deadline, he expected Yankees GM Brian Cashman to sign a big player. He said, if that happens, the Yankees will defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games. Although the Yankees did not sign any big players, they are closer to the faceoff with the Dodgers. If the latter beat the Mets and the Yankees win the ALCS, the prediction is on. Then it’s all up to fate and 7 World Series games to decide the outcome. Will A-Rod have a say? Time will tell.
