The baseball legend Alex Rodriguez is going through a tough time in his personal life. Most recently, Rodriguez had to face a haunting diagnosis about his body. What was supposed to be a regular routine checkup at the dentist turned out to be a nightmare for the baseball icon. Yes, the former athlete Alex Rodriguez recently got diagnosed with a horrifying disease known as gum disease, which is caused by the hefty usage of either tobacco or sunflower seeds. 

Notably, this is a tough time in the Rodriguez household. But fortunately for him, A-Rod has the fitness expert girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, right beside him to keep him in check. And most recently, Alex sat for an interview with Fox 5 NY, where he spoke about Jac keeping him fit and healthy.

With his recent interview and talking about his girlfriend Jac Cordeiro like he did, Alex proved that he’d remain an advocate for all the closest people in his life. A-Rod, in his interview with Fox 5 NY, opened up about Cordeiro helping him through this tough time while saying how tough it is to keep him healthy. He shared the clip on his Instagram story.

When the host asked about Jac and how she’s keeping Alex in shape, he said, “Well, that’s a hard job. That’s a full-time job, and Jac’s doing incredible. She’s a former nurse, she’s a mother of two daughters as well, and she’s a force of nature. She’s helping me with my training. She has her Jac Fit thing, which is on fire. She can’t keep up with all her clients, but it’s good. I think we make each other better.”

As Alex Rodriguez heaped praises for his girlfriend, Cordeiro took to Instagram to thank her beau for saying such kind words about her. The couple has been in a relationship for over six months now. And from the looks of it, they are going pretty strong.

In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Alex revealed getting diagnosed with early-stage gum disease. There, he also said that he found out that over 65 million Americans suffer from this disease.

However, this still hasn’t pushed A-Rod back. It just altered the course of his day-to-day life. But with the force of nature that Alex is, he will firmly get back up from this disease.
