Alex Rodriguez reportedly once got Jennifer Lopez to sign a photograph for him. It was a poster of the pop music megastar and actress Lopez, herself. Per reports, the incident was from nearly 20 years before they began dating. Rodriguez also framed Lopez’s autographed poster, which remained with him for decades.

In 2018, Rodriguez even shared the image through a post on his Instagram account. Elaborating the post, Rodriguez quoted, “TBT to almost 20 years ago when a big-time global pop superstar signed a pic for a young ballplayer.” Back at the time, Lopez was already a global sensation, while Rodriguez was beginning to achieve superstardom. But by the time the couple began dating, Rodriguez stood on the same starry pedestal as Lopez. 

Speaking on her relationship with Rodriguez in 2018, Lopez stated, “We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t.”

Rodriguez and Lopez got engaged in 2019, however. They even scheduled a marriage ceremony in 2020, which was about to go on in Italy. The marriage, though, got postponed till 2021, but then never saw the light of day.
