During the Pinstripes’ 2009 postseason run, A-Rod came up with several clutch performances and helped them win the championship. It was a huge moment in his career, and who better to celebrate the victory with than Jay-Z?

The 2009 World Series parade took place on the Canyon of Heroes, an iconic stretch of road on Broadway. It goes from Battery Place all the way to City Hall. And all parades in New York take place on this stretch.

The 2009 World Series title was the first that the Yankees had won since 2000. And therefore, the team celebrated the victory with more enthusiasm. But little did they know the Pinstripes were not going to win another one for a very long time.
