Alex Rodriguez has been all over the place this summer! From celebrating a lavish birthday with his girlfriend, mom, and daughters Natasha and Ella in Italy, to trying basketball. Yes, Rodriguez went all out trying to dunk, but he’s better off sticking to baseball – none of his three-pointers even came close. And the mystery of his impressive tan has resurfaced, likely thanks to all that European sunshine. Clearly, the summer in Europe did the magic.
However, now it’s back to business for A-Rod. He is now all geared up for an exciting appearance at the Kroger Wellness Festival 2024. Now this isn’t just any event—it’s America’s largest health and wellness festival. Plus, he will be joined by some big names from other industries like Maneet Chauhan, celebrity chef and James Beard Award winner, and Chrissy Teigen, model and cookbook author. Plus, MMA fighter Dustin Poirier and former WNBA, player Briana Butler, are going to be there too, bringing their brand of excitement. And if that wasn’t enough, the festival is headlining two free concerts featuring Jason Derulo and Third Eye Blind. Get ready to ‘Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle’!

The 2024 Kroger Wellness Festival will turn Fifth Street in Downtown Cincinnati into a vibrant hub of health and fitness. Running daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the festival is entirely free. Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health, said in a press release, “This festival is another opportunity for the community to access resources that encourage healthy eating and living, in a family-friendly atmosphere.” It will bring over 175 sponsors to build that immersive experience. And with a focus on physical, mental, and emotional health. Not to mention that the festival has a jam-packed schedule, so there’s everything from fitness activities to cooking demos, classes, and panel discussions. And of course, live music across the six stages!
So whether you’re into working out, learning new recipes, or just soaking up some good vibes, there’s something here for everyone. But that’s not even the best part! The festival will be pulling out all the stops with a star-studded lineup. One of them is the legendary baseball star Alex Rodriguez. Just back from Europe, after a holiday and supporting the country in the Olympics, he will be looking forward to helping support the cause. After his career in sports, he is all about giving back to the community. A-Rod engages in multiple initiatives, just like Kroger Wellness Fest. He is a partner with Project Destined and also on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club (BGC) of Miami-Dade and is part of the Board of Trustees for the University of Miami.
Recently, he has even shown his support to his home country of the Dominican Republic, by meeting the president and thanking him for his continued efforts to make things go in the right direction for the country.

This 2024 Old Timer’s event is part of the 15th anniversary celebration of their 2009 World Series team, which A-Rod was a part of. Rodriguez was on fire in the post-season, batting .365 with 19 hits, six dingers, 18 RBIs, and 15 runs scored in only 15 games.

Alongside Alex Rodriguez, even Derek Jeter, Hideki Matsui, and Mariano Rivera will be joining at the August 24th event. Now A-Rod made his Major League appearance last with the New York Yankees in 2016, after which he declined to play for any teams and then he chose to become the advisor to Hal Steinbrenner, the Yankees’ owner. He is also a known media personality now and a broadcaster for Fox! And his joining the event is special for fans, who will get to see their heroes of the past and hear them relive the stories of their glory days.
