A mega disaster relief benefit concert by the name ‘One Voice:Somos Live!’ took place in Miami and Los Angeles. A telethon preceded the concert where numerous celebrities raised funds for the hurricane-damaged regions. The donations went to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, and the southern USA. While Kim and Jennifer participated in the telethon, Lopez later also performed at the concert with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. 

Kim publicized her participation on her social network handle, writing, “Hey guys we are going to start answering some of the phones. We’re here at the telethon, so tune in and watch. Call in, please donate.”

Meanwhile, speaking to People magazine, Lopez said, “Right when the hurricane hit Puerto Rico, Marc and I got on the phone and started talking about what we could do. Alex was right next to me and he started spitballing things we could do. From there, we just started organizing as many people as we could in our specific arenas and pulled this thing together.”

The 14-time All-Star and onetime World Series winner, Alex Rodriguez retired from baseball in 2016. He began dating Lopez in 2017, but they broke up in 2021.
