Alex Rodriguez and Girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro Enjoy a Special Phoenix Party With the Chainsmokers Ahead of Massive Super Bowl Showdown

What better way to celebrate date night than going to a concert? Good music and good company combine to make the best recipe for an unforgettable time. And former Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and his current girlfriend Jac Cordeiro certainly think so!

The Super Bowl LVII is just a few hours away and fans are rumbling to see the Chiefs and Eagles compete. But before that come the celebrations. As people from all over the world get ready to watch an exciting game, they are also partaking in some festivities. Iconic parties like those held by Sports Illustrated, Pepsi, and Maxim constitute the most popular ones. The host cities go all out to give the audiences the best time, and A-Rod and his partner certainly seemed to be having fun!

Drew Taggart and Alex Pall have taken over the music scene with their techno beats that surprisingly have meaningful lyrics. In the last decade or so, the Chainsmokers have dominated party music with their hit songs that most young people relate to. And last night they headlined Sports Illustrated’s The Party with another major singer. Among the audience, of course, were A-Rod and Cordeiro.

Rodriguez posted a picture with the band while their song with Coldplay, Something Just Like This, played on the story. Cordeiro posted a video of the musicians singing the same song onstage. Held at the iconic Talking Stick Resort, The Party was presented by Captain Morgan and produced by Medium Rare and Authentic Entertainment.

And The Chainsmokers weren’t the only artist to light up the night.

Machine Gun Kelly also headlined the biggest weekend in football… and got electrocuted

Colson Baker, AKA rapper, and songwriter Machine Gun Kelly, also sang some tunes at The Party. In silver pants and a white crop top, MGK truly flooded the stage with light. Both Rodriguez and Cordeiro attended the 32-year-old’s performance, which took a scary twist later in the night.

Sharing a photo to his Twitter, the singer revealed he actually got electrocuted during his set. The photo shows his hair standing straight up as if it was a cartoonish representation of getting an electric shock. He captioned the tweet, “getting electrocuted during a performance was a first for me… but the hair’s cool 🤷🏼‍♂️”

It even led one fan to christen him Machine Gun Sparky and others to compare him to popular anime characters. What an unforgettable night for all involved!
