This includes the likes of Torrie Wilson, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, and Jennifer Lopez. A-Rod has regularly made the headlines for his relationships and has never been one to shy away from it.

The media heavily followed A-Rod’s relationship with Cameron Diaz. And in an attempt to hide their relationship, A-Rod and Diaz once used some pretty interesting tactics.

Alex Rodriguez and Diaz avoided each other at a party to avoid the media attention

In order to avoid their relationship being discovered, A-Rod and Diaz avoided each other at a party. This was at CC Sabathia’s 30th birthday party at the 40/40 club in New York. Despite the two of them wanting to greet each other, A-Rod and Diaz had to stay apart during the party. According to PEOPLE in 2010, “It was obvious that they were deliberately avoiding each other. The two of them seemed hyper-aware that everybody was staring at them, waiting for them to interact.”

Although A-Rod and Diaz stayed apart, they were there for each other. As they kept a distance between themselves but “were within each other’s eyesight the entire night”. This was an interesting and extreme idea that the couple came up with to avoid being in the headlines.

The couple wanted to enjoy the night and avoid the media attention they were getting at the time. According to reports, the couple had only started dating around that time and wanted to enjoy some time together without getting caught.

Unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last long, and the then-couple broke up after a year or so of dating. Both Diaz and A-Rod have since moved on. Diaz married Benji Madden in 2015 and Alex Rodriguez is currently dating Jaclyn Cordeiro.

If the reports are true then, Rodriguez and Diaz broke up because they were both focused on their careers. Additionally, it appears that A-Rod was not ready to commit to the relationship long-term.
