But shockingly, Boston came alive after the 3rd game of the ALCS and defeated the Yankees in four consecutive games, heading to the World Series and eventually winning it. The Jeter-Rodriguez duo was part of that Yankees team and clearly, since they let Boston make a surprising win before, fans think they did it again.
