Amid a litany of steroid controversies, dishonesty, combative behavior, arrogance, and overconfidence, Alex Rodriguez has earned a plethora of enemies throughout the MLB. Nowhere, however, did the former Yankees slugger face more disdain than at the home of his storied rivals, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Chants of boos were the only greeting he received on Yawkey Way when he arrived at the park. Yet, in a surprising turn of events, the 2009 Yankees World Champion recently returned to Boston and reminisced about a truly “great experience” in a place where he was once so deeply reviled.
One year back, Rodriguez visited Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, to attend a program helmed by Professor Anita Elberse. Ensuing his trip, the ex-Yankees slugger uploaded a vlog of his entire trip, which was a combination of a wholesome encounter filled with smart students, working out, and various experiences.

In the last few seconds of the video, the 14-time All-Star thanked Prof. Anita and spoke about his wonderful experience at Harvard.
He said, “What a cool experience. In four days, you get a taste of what a two-year program at Harvard Business School could be like. If you’re an athlete, if you’re an entertainer, if you want to be a media mogul, you have to take Anita’s class in Harvard Business School. Trust me, you won’t regret it.”
Finally, A-Rod spoke about his utter disbelief at actually having a good time in Boston. He said, “You know, I never thought I’ll have such a great experience in Boston, Massachusets. But Harvard Business School, Anita, thank you.”
What is the reason behind A-Rod’s immense hate in Boston?
Ever since the A-Rod deal fell through in 2004, and the then-Rangers shortstop made it to New York, BoSox fans have hated him. Eventually, his PED consumption and suspension gave fans from Boston additional reasons to display their disdain toward the successful Yankees champion.
