The Houston Astros need a miracle or maybe all they need is some magic. While their season might be heading for a disappointment, the team is trying to stay positive. And what’s the best way to build some chemistry? Engage in some entertaining activities. So it seems Alex Bregman and the Astros have taken a page out of Shohei Ohtani’s Los Angeles Dodgers playbook and engaged in a little show of magic and wonder.

Famous magician Shlomo Levinger recently came to the news for wowing the entire Dodgers squad with his magic tricks. The most viral of his videos was where he left Ohtani bewildered with his card trick. Now the magician has posted on his YouTube channel excerpts of another show – this time it’s for the Houston Astros!

Levinger revealed that Alex Bregman personally called him to invite him down to perform for the Astros. It was Bregman’s way to spread some joy in a rapidly stressed clubhouse. Unsurprisingly, Levinger’s show proved to be a massive success and the Astros’ squad visibly looked happy with the entire arrangement. Could this bring about a little change of luck?

Perhaps it could. Acts like this bring the team together and the Astros do need some dose of positivity. More importantly, it shows how Alex Bregman is finally trying to step up as a leader and hoping to improve his team’s morale. On the other hand for Levinger, this is yet another major league performance.

The magician joked about signing a major league contract soon in his X account. Is the world witnessing Shlomo Levinger turn into the major league’s go-to magician? Perhaps it is. After all, it was Mike Trout who first discovered Levinger.

Perhaps they’d also like a little good luck on their side. After all, ever since Levinger has performed in the Dodgers, they’ve remained one of the most dominant teams in the league. Could some of that good fortune transfer to the Astros? The Astro-nauts certainly hope it does. The 2022 World Series winners are in dire need of some luck. Maybe Levinger can twist that imaginary wand and say a spell to bring in the good times.
