A-Rod is not the only star in his family. While Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is usually the focal point of news, this time it’s his 17-year-old daughter, Natasha Rodriguez who surprised and shook the LoanDepot Park in Miami.

Markedly, A-Rod has two daughters with his first wife, Cynthia Scurtis: Natasha, 17, and Ella, 14. A-Rod and Cynthia married in 2002. And eventually, the couple called it quits and officially separated in 2008. While their marriage did not weather a pleasant end, A-Rod has consistently shared a wholesome dynamic with his two daughters.

A-Rod’s daughter Natasha sings at LoanDepot Park

On Thursday night, before Miami Marlins took on the Philadelphia Phillies at home, A-Rod’s daughter, Natasha Alexander, started the night with a beautiful and melodious display of the National Anthem. A-Rod, like a proud father, documented the moment and shared a video of his daughter’s performance on his social media handles.

In the video, Natasha is wearing a Marlins jersey with the number 13 and her last name, “Rodriguez.” Natasha walks to the baseball diamond and proceeds to perform for the crowd. Markedly, A-Rod captioned his Tweet with, So proud” along with a blue heart and USA flag.

Moving on, the Marlins won the game 5-3. However, they lost the first two games of the series and, in effect, the entire series against the Phillies.

A-Rod made his MLB debut in 1994. Ten years down the line, after making a mark with the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers, in 2004, A-Rod arrived in New York. The Yankees-Rodriguez relationship started when the shortstop converted to a baseman to accommodate then-captain Derek Jeter. A-Rod won his only World Championship with the Yankees in 2009. Moreover, he also won two American League MVPs and home run leader awards in 2005 and 2007.
