Alek shined in his first start after the embarrassing assignment. He participated in a win against the Detroit Tigers, pitching in six innings. The Jays ace allowed only hit at an earned run while claiming eight strikeouts. But he still has failed to impress the fans, who have responded in a mixed voice to his return.

Manoah fails to get firm support even after a comeback win

The season is going through a crucial phase, and fans are happy to see their players doing well. But this is not the case with Manoah, who did well against the Tigers. As the Tigers have been poor offensively, fans are in doubt whether he will be able to repeat it against the strong teams.
