Something new is getting written in history with every home run that the Cardinals’ star Albert Pujols hits. Last night, St. Louis Cardinals played against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC park. Even though the Cardinals lost the game, something good did come out of the loss. Alber ‘The Machine’ Pujols hit the 703rd home run of his career. He went for a two-run homer against the Pirates’ pitcher Mitch Keller.

Naturally, Big Al wanted the historic home run ball as a keepsake, and the fan who caught the ball also got called by security to have a conversation about giving the ball back.
Did the fan give Albert Pujols the ball back?
As soon as Mike caught the historic home run ball, the stadium’s security reached out to him, asking for the ball back.
Apparently, they told him, “Mr. Pujols would like the ball.”

The guards went with him to the back, and the team only offered Mike a signed ball by Pujols as a trade. Mike politely declined as the historic ball is worth much more than what he was offered. Later, someone offered the fan a hundred grand in exchange for the ball, to which he said, “No. Too low.’
Until now, the Cardinals have made no offer to Mike other than the signed ball by Pujols. The fan, by all means, now intends to keep the ball with him.
The Cardinals now have only two games left before the playoffs begin, and if Pujols does not hit any more home runs, then his last home run ball will stay with Mike.
What do the fans have to say about it?
Also, the offers he got!
He was just offered $100,000 for the ball. He said "No. Too low."

The only "offer" from stadium officials was "a ball signed by Mr. Pujols as a trade." He declined.

More clarification: Security told Mike immediately "Mr. Pujols would like the ball." (I heard this). Mike was taken back. Then told "We can't yet confirm a deal, but we will trade you an autographed ball." Mike said "No." No further offered have been made.

Should he sell it?
Advise him not to give Pujos the ball! Sell it!

Sell that

It could possibly be Pujols’ last home run ball of the regular season.
It’s smart for him to keep it. There’s a possibility this could be the very last regular season home run that Pujols hits. He might not hit one in the playoffs. It very well could be Albert’s final career homer.

Oh, and also, with that 703rd home run, he passed the legendary Babe Ruth in RBIs.
Get over the 703 ball….it's the Babe Ruth passing RBI ball. Glad he's a Cardinal fan!

Could be his last home run ever and will forever be the passing of Babe Ruth’s RBI record 🏷📈

That’s a 4 million dollar ball. All day. Passing Babe Ruth at anything is legendary but RBIs!!! And that might just be Alberts last HR ever

Yes Albert should have it. It's not the number of the homerun, it's the number behind the rbi's it represents. He just passed Babe freakin Ruth with that homerun and those 2 rbi's.

But is he?
Pujols seems to want the ball more than 700. I wonder if he’s sitting the next 2 games
