Recently, the Mariners slugger Julio Rodríguez paid a special visit to his hometown of Loma de Cabrera, bringing sports supplies and smiles to the children of the community. Taking to renowned MLB insider, Hector Gomez informed the same.

His translates into, “Julio Rodríguez with the children of his native Loma de Cabrera, to whom he gave sports supplies this morning.”

As he distributed the equipment, Rodriguez saw firsthand the joy and appreciation on the young faces around him. The children’s voices rose in a chorus, as they chanted ‘Julio’s’ name repeatedly with enthusiasm.

Baseball enthusiasts were proud of Rodriguez for making this move.

Will J-Rod be able to repeat his heroics in the 2023 MLB season?

Having witnessed his carnage in the 2022 regular season, one can expect another remarkable season from the Mariners star. With 28 home runs and 25 stolen bases, the 22-year-old impressed everyone in the MLB world. His season was so good that the Mariners went on to sign him on a 14-year contract for a possible $490 million, probably the largest MLB deal so far.

However, depending only on J-Rod will not do any good to the Mariners. If they want to play postseason, the AL side will have to build a team around the reigning AL Rookie of the Year.
