Aaron Judge has had a dream start to his baseball career and has done full justice to his reputation. He made his MLB debut in 2016 as the New York Yankees outfielder. Following on, exhibiting numerous match-winning performances, he won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 2017. The four-time All-Star Judge is now a frontrunner for the American League MVP honors this season.
Judge helped the Yankees to reign supreme all throughout the season and hold the zonal top rank. Boosted by his contributions, the Yankees have also booked playoff berths. Notably, he has always remained thankful to his parents for his achievements. Recently, Judge yet again made special mention of his parents, thanking them for his grand success.
Aaron Judge was fated to be a Yankee
Aaron Judge recently hit his 62nd home run of this season. That made him the American League’s highest seasonal home run scorer ever in the history of the sport.
Judge is someone who has always spoken very highly about his parents. Judge got adopted by his parents Wayne and Patty Judge as a newborn baby. However, even when he learned about being an adopted child, it made no difference. He continued to love and respect his parents just as he did earlier. Judge mentioned earlier how a disciplined childhood under the proper guidance of his parents made him a successful athlete.

As per a source, Judge once praised his mother in an interview with the New York Post, saying, “I know I wouldn’t be a New York Yankee if it wasn’t for my mom. The guidance she gave me as a kid growing up, knowing the difference from right and wrong, how to treat people and how to go the extra mile and put in extra work, all that kind of stuff. She’s molded me into the person that I am today.”
Will Judge remain a Yankee?
Judge’s Yankees term contract will expire at the end of this season. And hence, multiple teams are already vying for the marquee player. Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether the Yankees go on to be successful in preserving him within their clan.
