What better way to introduce the MLB to a foreign land than by showing a new country, a game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox? That is exactly what the MLB did in 2019 when the first MLB London Series was hosted at London Stadium, in London, England. With the Yanks winning the first two games, the MLB London Series was off to a spectacular start.

However, crediting the pandemic, the following years couldn’t house the Route 66 rivalry between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.
