“He Reminds Me a Lot Of…”- Juan Soto Earns Comparisons to MLB Legend From Veteran San Diego Padres Teammate

San Diego Padres veteran Nelson Cruz compares Juan Soto to Adrian Beltre

Most recently, his San Diego Padres teammate Nelson Cruz compared him to MLB legend Adrian Beltre. Cruz said that Soto is quiet but knows what to do on the field, much like Beltre. 97.3 The Fan shared the video of Cruz making the comparison on Twitter. 

In the video, Nelson Cruz said, “He reminds me a lot of Adrian Beltre. You know, the type of player that doesn’t talk much, he’s very quiet. But he knows what to do on the field.” This is a massive compliment as Cruz has compared Soto to a legend of the game. The Padres star is only 24 years old right now and in time could add numerous achievements to his name.

After being traded to the San Diego Padres, Juan Soto hit a slump. He was in poor form and looked nothing like his usual self.
