As the Los Angeles Dodgers continue to go winless for their fifth straight spring training game, a home run by baseman Michael Busch found an interesting place in the crowd. As the Dodgers took on the Kansas City Royals at their spring training home, a seventh-inning home run witnessed an adorable puppy triumphing over a group of people chasing a ball.

Dodgers prospect and baseman Michael Busch smashed his second round trip of the season in the seventh innings of the game against the Royals. Naturally, as the ball traveled to the stands, chaos ensued. And a lucky canine navigated his way through this turmoil.

As chaos ensued and fans scrambled to get their hands on the ball, an opportunistic canine stood unmoved with the ball held in his jaws. Eventually, the dog’s owner, decked in a Dodgers jersey, managed to snatch the ball from the reluctant pup. After Francisco’s Lindor 26th home run, this home run, too, won the heart of every fan.

Fox Sports MLB uploaded a video of this adorable moment with the caption, “Give this dog a contract.” Eventually, Jomboy Media uploaded the same video with the caption, “A dog catching a home run ball is an all-time wholesome moment.”
