Samantha Bracksieck’s DUI arrest:

During the COVID-19 quarantine, as the New York Yankees took refuge in Arizona for spring training, the arrest involving Bracksieck’s arrest made the headlines. When the arrest happened, Bracksieck found herself in hot water with the police. In a moment of desperation, she exclaimed, “My boyfriend is not in a spot where I should be, like, having this happen. He’s like a public figure. So, like, me being arrested for, like, having two glasses of wine is not OK.”

The media portrayed her as name-dropping. But to those looking closely, it appeared she was simply trying to shield her boyfriend from negative attention.
