While making his Pinstripes and MLB debut in 2016, no one would have expected the calm, composed, and disciplined Aaron Judge, to beat the unimaginable 61 homers in a season by Roger Maris. But six years down the line, he did, and this unbelievable feat came with strong discipline and consistent routines.

Aaron Judge, in an interview from 2017, once spoke about his rookie days in the monumental, New York City. During these years, despite multiple distractions that surrounded the city, the outfielder focused solely on his game, and consistently maintained professionalism.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, in 2017, on Aaron Judge’s 25th birthday, the outfielder celebrated his birthday by going to sleep early. Moreover, his 25th birthday started off with the outfielder hitting a match-winning homer into the Fenway Park stands followed by him holding on to a foul ball, and then ultimately going to bed early.

Judge, while talking about going out in NYC, said, “I have a very short window to play this game. The last thing I want to do is waste it being out on the town. I want to get every ounce I can out of my body.”
