Any sport is probably nothing without its fans. Time and again, it has been proved that it’s the fans who make the sport soulful. Recently, the New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge acknowledged one such fan with an adorable gesture. During the Yankees Vs Padres game, Aaron Judge gave a young fan a moment of his life before guiding his team to another win of the season.

It was a crucial game for the Yankees and a loss could have taken away the series from them. But the Judge-led side held their nerves to win a crucial game of the season.

Aaron Judge had an adoring moment with a young fan

Aaron was practicing in the dugout. Many young fans were cheering for the Yankees’ captain. Aaron took notice of all the cheers and threw a ball toward his fans. Mike Daddino shared the video of the incident. The caption of the post read, “Aaron Judge just making a young lads day. Nothing new here.” It is not the first time Aaron Judge did this. He met with another fan before the game.

Meanwhile, the Yanks took the lead early in the game, but the Padres came back into the game with a run in the fourth innings. It was a tie between the two at the end of the seventh innings, and the effort from the Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the last innings saw the Yanks win.

Judge and DJ LeMahieu made an impact with the bat. Both contributed two runs, with the former finishing it with an average of 0.286. While pitching, Luis Severino had another outing since his return from the injury. It was the second win for the ace pitcher as he claimed five strikeouts at an ERA of 1.59. Fernando Tatis Jr. had a great game, but his effort fell short of the win. Michael Wacha could not stop the Yanks. It was another crucial win for the Yankees under Judge.

Judge has been impactful since his return

Aaron has had a tremendous impact on the Yankees since his return. He has continuously contributed to them and is in fine form. Judge has scored 34 runs and has 33 RBIs to his name so far. The Yankees’ Center Fielder is averaging 0.286 with an OPS of 1.013. Given that the Yankees are stuck mid-table, their captain’s role becomes crucial in the upcoming games. How will the Yankees perform next to the Padres? Only time will tell!
