Aaron Judge is unstoppable! While he potentially walks through the best season of his career, Judge has come out as a respectable and reliable team man who can rescue the Yanks out of any situation. And he did exactly that through the Yankee slump in August.

Aaron Judge made his MLB and Yankee debut in 2016. Since then, he has stood by the Yanks through thick and thin. He led the list of homers in 2017 and continues to do the same, five years down the line, in 2022. Before he entered 2022, Judge declined a $330 million offer from Brian Cashman. He entered 2022 as a free agent, making a risky bet on himself. Today, that bet has paid off.
Aaron Judge is breaking records with every passing day
Markedly, Judge has hit 57 homers this season. Kyle Schwarber, from the Philadelphia Phillies, rests far away from Judge at number two with only 37 homers. Palpably, Judge stands twenty homers ahead of the Phillies slugger.
Aaron Judge (57 HR) now has 20 more homers than anyone else in MLB (Kyle Schwarber, 37).

As reported by ESPN stats, “It’s the first time a player will finish a calendar day with a 20+ HR lead since the last day of the 1928 season when Babe Ruth led Jim Bottomley and Hack Wilson by 23 homers.”
In hindsight, Judge not signing the Yankee contract was probably the best decision of his life. Consequently, he should be looking forward to a whopping contract from either the Yanks or supposed contenders – the San Francisco Giants.
Will the Yanks reach the World Series?
The Yankees have witnessed a relatively topsy-turvy season this year. They started the year by becoming the first team to triumph through 70 matches. However, August turned out to be the worst calendar month for the Yanks since September 1991. But, Judge’s splendid form guided the Yanks to a significant comeback after six straight series losses in August.
