Following on, the Yankees hosted a three-game home series against the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. However, defying expectations, Judge’s 62nd home run came at Globe Life Field in Texas.?

On Tuesday night, Aaron Judge finally broke the shackles that the opposition pitchers put him in. One week on from his 61st home run, the opponents denied Judge’s next colossal shot through some cunning defense. His rivals kept repeatedly walking him over, making their intentions clear. But champions triumph through every hurdle, so Judge proved his mettle yet again.?
The Yankees played a doubleheader against the Rangers on Tuesday. In the next game, Judge smashed a slider from Rangers pitcher Jesus Tinoco in the top of the first innings. The ball got deposited into the left field stands of Globe Life Field. The crowd stood up buzzing and roaring in jubilation of witnessing history, as Judge got his 62nd seasonal home run.?

Describing his feelings in a post-game interview, Judge said, “Pretty surreal, just like in Toronto, it was pretty awesome. You know, having their support. But I think in Texas, they were a little more excited, you know. It was finally. At home, you know, if I look up, I look right into the dugout. So I could see all the guys just sitting near the top step, waiting for this to happen, you know.”?

Judge added saying, “If you’re on the road, they’re behind me. So I didn’t see the 40-plus people sitting in the dugout. So I think you can finally see if I’m on the field. I can hug them all and say congratulations. That’s what’s it about for me.”?

Judge also thanked his teammates for their support. He mentioned how the players have stood with him through the ups and downs. So, to be able to celebrate the milestone journey with his friends is a very special feeling for Judge.?
