Fans came to his defense and Judge himself cleared the air, saying that he was trying to see which of his teammates were yelling at the plate umpire. According to Talkin’ Yanks, Boone said, “Sorry it’s boring”. In the Tweet, Talkin’ Yanks further said, “Aaron Boone just apologized because the Aaron Judge looking at the dugout story didn’t become the drama that some people were hoping for”.
The reason for the controversy and cheating allegations was that after Judge stared into his dugout, he smashed a home run. This led to reporters accusing him of cheating. The Blue Jays’ broadcasters were the first to accuse him when they noticed him looking into the dugout. Judge resolved the situation by explaining his actions.
