It has been a frustrating season so far, Aaron Boone. Though he has tried to steer the team for better results, that has not been the case till now. Moreover, he has continuously made the headlines for the wrong reasons, including his ejections, on-field decisions, and off-filed statements. Adding to the list, Boone, after the loss, tried to justify his belief regarding the on-field errors.
While replying to the question regarding Gleyber Torres, which cost the Yankees two runs, Boone said,” I don’t think he made an outlandish number of errors at second”

But according to his belief, the situation is a lot different. Talkin’ Yanks reflected the same in the caption of a Twitter post. It read, “Gleyber’s nine errors are the most of all second basemen this season.” Notably, the 26-year-old Gleyber has not played up to the mark this season and has been under stress for his mistakes.
He is also leading the league in terms of fielding errors. So when Boone justified his poor record by downplaying it, fans could not hold their reactions.
