Aaron Boone kept saying that Aaron Judge would be back, and so did Giancarlo Stanton. The Bronx Bombers’ skipper had warned the teams that they’d pay “big time” when All-Rise returns. And now the New York Yankees captain has made Boone’s words come true. In a comprehensive 4-0 win against the Minnesota Twins, Aaron Judge was the one who had a monstrous night at the plate. A night so big, it might signal disaster for the Pinstripes’ rivals.

The superstar went 4-for-4 with a massive 467-foot homer, three doubles, and a walk! It was only the 2nd time in his career that Judge had a 4 extra base-hit game. However, the superstar actually missed something even more historic. The 2022 MVP was quite close to having the first 5-hit game of his career. However, he couldn’t get the job done. Now in his postgame interview, Judge has revealed an interesting feeling that he had going into that 5th at-bat.

“Yeah, you get a little competitive, a little greedy in that last at-bat,” Judge said about his 5th at-bat. “But he made tough pitches and I was able to lay off one at the end, take a walk, and get on base for another guy swinging the batting. Once my at-bat was over, time to score one in the gap. So you think about it but didn’t happen.”

After hitting a nadir a few weeks ago, Aaron Judge has had a rebirth of sorts in his last 17 games. Per the New York Post, the Yankees’ captain is batting .383 with a ridiculous 1.350 OPS in his last 17 games. All Rise has also hit 7 homers in those games (in total he’s hit 11 homers till now). Judge was also able to remove the monkey from his back by attacking Pablo Lopez – the pitcher who had his number.

All of that points towards Judge firmly getting back to his best. However, even after such an electrifying performance, All Rise believes there are still some ways to go before we can say that he’s back.

Aaron Judge’s growing confidence turns things around for the New York Yankees

Though Judge said that he’s “getting there” the star still believes that his at-bats can be even better. “Not there yet. Hopefully, we get there when we’re talking in November,” Judge said. One can guess the extraordinary standards that Judge keeps himself in from these comments. Despite a performance like this, he knows that he can do much more.

Aaron Boone too was full of praise for his captain. The Yankees’ skipper noted, “He felt a little oversized for the park,” referring to Judge’s 467-foot blast. That happened to be the third-longest home run in the majors this season. Interestingly it’s Judge who remains in the top with his 473-foot missile against the Houston Astros (along with Mike Trout).

So now that the Yankees’ captain is finally attacking pitchers, the Bronx Bombers’ rise seems even more inevitable. With a 29-15 record, this was the Pinstripes’ ninth win in the last eleven games. More importantly, they’ve won 11 of the 14 series that they’ve played. It’s a juggernaut that has no stop, who will be able to halt its progress?
