The 27-year-old shortstop, Carlos Correa, made his MLB debut in 2015 for the Houston Astros. He came back to Houston while representing the Minnesota Twins. During his six-year tenure with the Astros, Correa gained a lot of success and sought some drama too. He won the Rookie of the Year award in his debut season and was part of a controversial World Championship victory in 2017. Moreover, he also made appearances on two All-Star teams. While playing for the Astros, Carlos was a fan favorite. It is palpable from the reception he received when the Astros took on the Minnesota Twins today.

In recent times, the Astros have been one of the more successful teams. Even today, they are topping the American League at 0.637. Markedly, they won the World Championship in 2017. However, the Astros were found guilty of stealing opponent signs in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. MLB launched a thorough investigation into this, and after being found guilty, the field and general manager got suspended for a season. Moreover, they were fined $5 million and lost their first and second-round draft pick in 2020 and 2021.
