Additionally, Rodriguez even flaunted his royalty by sharing an image of Lopez showing off her expensive Hermes quilt online. Neither Rodriguez nor Lopez is short on a crazy fan following on social media. So, at a time when people were losing jobs and going homeless, the public didn’t hold back their fury. 

One disappointed person replied, writing, “People are really really struggling. Maybe don’t post your enormous wealth on a private plane with Hermes blankets. Compassion is all you need right now.” While another person joined in, writing, “People lost their jobs. Maybe stop posting your private jet. We get it. You’re rich.”

It is unknown whether the then-power couple took down the image as a result of the negative response. Notably, they had to postpone their marriage, originally scheduled in 2020. However, their marriage didn’t go on as planned in 2021 either, as they broke up. Lopez soon began dating former lover and actor Ben Affleck and they also famously got married in 2022. Meanwhile, Rodriguez has also found love again and is now dating a fitness instructor named Jaclyn Cordeiro.
