Per a Global news report from October 2019, Lopez uploaded a picture with the ex-Yankees slugger to her Instagram story on November 7th, 2017, shortly after they started dating. However, the picture landed JLo in trouble, after Splash News and Picture Agency filed a copyright infringement suit worth $150K and an injunction on Jennifer Lopez and her team.

According to court documents, the plaintiff said, “The Photograph is creative, distinctive, and valuable. Because of the subject’s celebrity status, and the Photograph’s quality and visual appeal, plaintiff (and the photographer it represents) stood to gain revenue from licensing the Photograph.”

As reported by the Blast in a piece from January 2020, JLo settled the $150K lawsuit before entering Super Bowl weekend that year. However, details of the settlement were never revealed.
