Justin Verlander has been sensational for the Houston Astros this year. Having been playing for the Houston Astros for over five years, the two-time Cy Young winner is running riots from the mound. Not only for the Astros, but Verlander has been probably the best ace in the American League.
Earlier, this week, the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Astros in a one-sided game. Being the American League champ, the Astros needed a huge comeback to the NL East side. And guess what? Verlander from the mound was brilliant. He was so good that the Astros ace conceded zero runs against the Phillies.
