Following a glittering career in Major League Baseball, A-Rod’s post-retirement foray was into the world of business – an enterprise he started as a teenager. All throughout his career, the Mariners’ debutant redefined the concept of hard work. Now, years after his retirement, with a net worth of $350 million, the 2009 Yankees World Champion headed to Stanford to teach a course called ‘Strategic Pivoting to Your Next Chapter’ alongside Stanford instructor Allison Kluger.

However, this time, in a series of stories uploaded by A-Rod, the Yankees slugger managed to share a room with a high-profile, former executive from META.

A special, high-profile trip to Stanford for Alex Rodriguez

A-Rod, who traveled to California to teach a course co-instructed by Allison Kruger, met various acclaimed names from the world of business. For starters, he met the CEO and Co-founder of Project Destined, Cedric Bobo. Before meeting him, the slugger said, “Alright so we have an incredible guest today. My good buddy Cedric Bobo pulling up right here all the way from Washington D.C. This guy made the trip to talk to our students right here at Stanford.”

Apart from that, in an ensuing story, A-Rod clicked a picture with the former COO of META, Sheryl Sandberg, and the President of Monument Capital Management, Erin Knight.

In an Instagram upload from a few days back, A-Rod spoke about his experience at Stanford. He captioned his post, “What a week from Stanford University, honored to be here!”

Back in 2022, Alex Rodriguez visited Harvard Business School for a short, block course orated by Anita Elberse. In a vlog shot by A-Rod enveloping his trip, the slugger-turned-student spoke about his experience of becoming a student again at Harvard and his highly enriching experience in the great passageways of Harvard.
