The ongoing MLB off-season has been very eventful so far, where some sort of revelation shocks fans every day. This time around, it’s the New York Yankees and ex-slugger Alex Rodriguez. The Pinstripes have new people in their management, and A-Rod has something to say about the same.
After retiring from the game, the former shortstop became an analyst for FOX Sports and is known for his infamous commentary. Some of his most notorious comments have been about the last team he played for and he has not held back on critical remarks. And now, when the Yankees are trying to fill the holes in their organization, what does Rodriguez have to say about the esteemed Pinstripes organization?

Recently, the Yankees brought in the former San Francisco Giants general manager Brian Sabean and former New York Mets general manager Omar Minaya to their operations department. While Sabean is joining as an executive assistant to the Yankees’ GM Brian Cashman, Minaya will be an adviser to baseball operations.
Taking to Twitter, A-Rod reacted to these Yankees’ decisions. He also called Sabean and Minaya, two excellent baseball minds.
Sabean and Minaya- two excellent baseball minds added to Yankees front office. Yanks are striking the perfect balance of analytics with smart baseball people.

This comes after more than a few pointed comments and direct attacks on the Yankees’ front-office decisions in the past. Notably, the former third baseman criticized Aaron Judge and the rest of the team for their terrible game against the Houston Astros during the last ALCS. He also once scorned the decision to start rookie Deivi García in a game against the Tampa Bay Rays, calling it “gimmicky.”
But now it seems like the Yanks have finally made a decision that A-Rod approves.
What are the fans saying?
People had no shortage of reactions to A-Rod’s tweet, where some questioned the move on the Pinstripes’ part –
I’m actually stunned that Cashman was on board with this.

Why does Cashman need an assistant, or should he get his resume in order.

Some, however, are happy with how things are going in the Bronx.
Love this !! Power moves

Definitely!!

While some seemed to think Rodriguez should himself have bagged the position of general manager-
Just got to get Cashman out next. Alex, you would make a great manager hope you get the opportunity someday!

Finally. The human factor is making a comeback. Maybe robots won't take over the game after all!

This comment seemingly refers to the Yankees’ recent developments in the analytical department. Taking a page out of the Rays’ book, who are known for their strategies, the Yanks have warmed up to the idea of using metrics and analysis.
